Officially licensed by BMW, it features the graphics from the front badge and a black-and-copper finish that we find genuinely classy for the price. As soon as we mounted it on our base, our first impression was one of unexpected sophistication: this is a well-built, genuine steering wheel, not just a throwaway accessory. When entering a turn, the compact diameter makes the steering responsive and easy to correct, which forgives minor line-up errors while you\u2019re learning. Under braking, you maintain a clear sense of what the front end is doing. We took it from GT track driving to more leisurely road driving, and it never seemed out of its element.
