Three connection modes, three levels of action<\/h2>\n
The true value of this small accessory lies in its three connection modes, which radically change how it works. In Mode 1, you connect it directly to the PC via a USB cable: pressing it disables haptic feedback, which is immediately restored when you release it. This is the gentlest setting, perfect for regaining control without interrupting your session.<\/p>\n
In Mode 2, it is connected to the base\u2019s DASH port using a six-pin RJ11 cable. The behavior is the same as in Mode 1: the haptic feedback fades while the button is pressed, then returns when it is released. Mode 3 goes much further. When connected to the dedicated E-STOP port via a four-pin RJ9 cable, it completely cuts off power to the base. After pressing the button, you must physically turn the base back on using its power button, just like a real emergency stop. You can therefore choose your level of security based on how you connect the button, which makes the accessory more versatile than it appears.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
