The bezel and front panel are made of 5-mm forged carbon fiber, backed by a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite back, and the whole unit holds up without faltering when you push it hard coming out of a turn. The 300-mm diameter is just right for the GT as well as for the single-seater\u2014neither too wide nor too narrow\u2014and the perforated microfiber grip remains comfortable under your palms as you accelerate out of corners. The ten backlit mechanical buttons click firmly, which prevents accidental activation but requires deliberate pressure.
