The whole setup is aimed at single-seater drivers who want serious direct drive without venturing into the very high-end market. You have to use the Pit House software to bring out the full potential, and that\u2019s when everything changes. You get texture, definition, and responsiveness that closely rival those of competing mid-range models. Those 9 Nm aren\u2019t just a number\u2014what really stands out is the speed of response, that sense of immediacy that makes you think \u201cdirect drive.\u201d When entering a turn, you can feel the front end load up, and over speed bumps or changes in road surface texture, the feedback comes through clearly\u2014where a belt drive would have smoothed everything out. When braking, you can sense the wheels starting to lock up in time to lift off the brake. Second, switching between dash pages requires combining two controls, which isn\u2019t very practical in the heat of the moment.
